LISD Schools and Offices to Close for Winter Break
12/15/2017
All LISD schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 20 through Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018. Staff will return to work on Wednesday, Jan. 3, for a staff development day, and students will return to school on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Leander ISD will be auctioning off surplus equipment items beginning Jan. 10, 2018. Items include half-ton and 1-ton pickup trucks; half-ton and 1-ton cargo vans; industrial grade 4 wheel landscaping vehicles; industrial grade landscaping riding mowers and mower parts.

Leander ISD Board adopts budget, tax rate
08/18/2017
With 1,200 new students expected to fill Leander ISD classrooms this school year, the Board of Trustees approved a 2017-18 budget that adds positions and increases salaries for all employees. Trustees approved a $326.3 million operating budget during their regular meeting Thursday night, funding for 39,154 students, growing 4 percent from the previous year. To pay for the new budget, Trustees voted to maintain the tax rate of $1.51 per $100 valuation.
