General Information


Volunteers teach Spanish once a week for thirty minutes. The district provides all program materials and training for new and returning volunteers.

The various positions require the following skills:

Volunteer Teachers should have an elementary level of Spanish, a proficient accent, and the ability to work well with children. Volunteers must be able to commit for the entire school year.

Substitute Volunteer Teachers should have an elementary level of Spanish, a proficient accent, and the ability to work well with children. This position is for anyone unable to commit to teaching every week for the entire school year.

Coordinators should have enthusiasm, good organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a variety of people. Knowledge of the Spanish language is not necessary.

Assistant Coordinators help with the organization of the program. Knowledge of the Spanish language is not necessary.
