CRMS Teacher Recognized at Board Meeting

At the LISD Board Meeting Thursday, Sept. 2, 2016, Brenda Edwards, athletic coordinator, health and PE teacher at Canyon Ridge Middle School, was recognized for being named a Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH) Champion of 2016.

Edwards is being recognized at the state-level for her work and dedication to helping children develop healthy habits. On Dec. 1, 2016, at the Moody Gardens Hotel, CATCH will recognize six CATCH Champions at the school, district and community level from across the state, and Edwards is among those to be recognized.
