LISD Special Education Department Joins Surrounding Districts in Holding Regional Transition Fair

The special education departments of 10 Central Texas school districts will be holding a regional transition fair called Destination … Life from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Round Rock High School, Building 100.

The fair is free, and all students receiving special education services, along with their parents, are welcome. The fair will feature more than 75 booths with agencies and organizations that serve students with disabilities, as well as nearly 30 speak session on a variety of topics, such as understanding the new Medicaid Waiver programs, guardianship and alternatives, understanding SSI and many others.

The school districts holding the event include Leander ISD, Austin ISD, East Williamson County Co-op, Georgetown ISD, Hutto ISD, Lago Vista ISD, Lake Travis ISD, Manor ISD, Pflugerville ISD and Round Rock ISD.

Round Rock High School is located at 300 N. Lake Creek Drive.
