LISD Selects Spicer as Executive Director of College and Career Pathways

Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell, Ph.D., has announced his appointment of Dr. Tiffany Spicer as the new Executive Director of College and Career Pathways.

“Dr. Spicer is a proven contributor to student success,” said Dr. Troxell. “She is focused on improving and implementing systems that indirectly and directly impact student achievement. Her rich experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, combined with her energy and enthusiasm, will help set all LISD students on course for future success in all post-secondary and workforce settings.”

Spicer has served as principal of Leander High School since 2014. Prior coming to LISD, she spent 10 years in Round Rock ISD. There she served in numerous roles including teacher, assistant principal, associate principal and principal. In addition, she’s held leadership positions that oversaw campus planning and improvement, as well as staff and program development.

Spicer has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Texas State University in San Marcos. She holds a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University in College Station.

Spicer will finish the school year as principal at Leander High School and step into her new role this summer.
